After tossing around ideas on tumblr we're organising a Beetlejuice meet-up at the London Comic Con, if we can get enough interest. A fan meet&greet and also a group cosplay opportunity, for shits and giggles.

I've started a Facebook group and event, (if you want the link(s) then please comment) and when the MCM Expo Forums are updated ready for October I'm going to put up another announcement and hopefully if interest proves enough then we can get it to be part of the community Fringe Festival and get it marked on the MCM Expo website. In the meantime we have five months to try and spread the word as much as possible.

Seriously, I can't believe people are griping about the ending(s) so much to the point of starting petitions. Give Bioware at least some slack; the game is about the END OF THE GALAXY/LIFE AS WE KNOW IT, what kind of ending(s) did you really expect? :/ As far as epilogues are concerned, that's what DLC and fanfictions are for. I'm not saying I was 'happy' with my ending, because I wasn't, the decision was tough. BUT I felt cheated that all that work I put in, all that time committed thus far, leads to only three endings. Red explosion, blue explosion, green explosion.

So, erm... I was planning on uploading my Beetlejuice fanfictions here but I've decided it's too much hassle to do so. I don't really understand how deviantArt's submission system works with word documents, I tried it the other night and it confused me. In a nutshell: I'm just going to keep them up on fanfiction.net. What I may do instead is to draw scenes from my fanfics and upload those here... whenever I get the chance.

Since my last journal... I'VE FINISHED 'STAGE PRESSURE'! Aghh, it was such a relief to complete it but also kind of sad, hence why I immediately started on its sequel 'Dead and Buried'. I've drawn some prep for 'Dead and Buried', it's what my Beetlejuice 'backstory' character sheet was drawn for, and I'm really, really eager to keep working on it. I was hopeful that it wasn't going to be as long as 'Stage Pressure' but now I'm anxious that it might be longer. T__T I-- I hope I can keep it short.  

Also, on my blogspot - beetlejuicing.blogspot.com/p/f… - I've finally posted up the summaries for all the other Beetlejuice fanfictions I have in the works. I... really don't know which one to start on next or whether to keep working on one at a time as I currently have been doing, but there we go.  

I would really appreciate it if anyone were to take a look at my fanfics! I'm desperate for reviews. <3

I'm mostly only writing this so I can kick the old journal off of my profile page. XD

Most importantly, I'm planning on attending the London MCM Expo in May, cosplaying as Lydia (from the cartoon, not the movie). I have all the non-custom made items that make up the costume, I just need to make her poncho/cape, style the wig, customise a ring and finish the brooch I started.

Bit of an update on the writing front, my fanfiction over on FF.net - Stage Pressure (www.fanfiction.net/s/7478031/1…) has now hit eighteen chapters. I'm so close to the end now, I estimate two chapters at the most to go. :woop:
I can't wait to just get it complete and then start on the sequel, Dead and Buried and/or an entirely new BJ fanfiction. I never like uploading fanfics in more than one place because I have a very bad habit of editing them differently depending on which website they get uploaded to, so I often lose track of which are the definitive, final versions.

And finally, my BJ collection is now HUGE, but I've yet to take a picture as a continuation from the first. My 3-D Viewmaster and 'Brinkadoom' animation cell finally got here. <33 I'm running out of space in my room, I think I need some kind of shrine. <.<
Do I want/need one of the animators' pencil drawings of the Roadhouse living room? (bites lip)

Fandom-speak over and done with, I'm going to a work party on Sunday night dressing as Marilyn Monroe so I may or may not have some photos taken. It's kind of a last minute thing so it won't be polished and perfect, OCD as I am the wig still won't be 100% and I won't have the right shoes, so it's more like a homage buuut I can't wait! ^_^
